At The Waxi Taxi, we know that waxing is a safe and effective procedure. However, you can make your experience better and heighten your results with several tips.
DO NOT tan for at least 24 hours before or after waxing. Waxing is an exfoliating process and removes dead skin that would be added protection when tanning.
DO NOT have intimate contact in the waxed area for at least 24 hours. Rubbing and perspiration can cause irritation. You can use your best judgment, but it’s important to be careful.
DO NOT wear super-fitted clothing for 12 hours. Loose clothing should be worn to avoid additional irritation. This will help you be more comfortable.
DO NOT do heavy exercise for at least 24 hours post-waxing. Again, rubbing and perspiration will cause additional skin irritation.
